Democrats for Israel California
As a California Democratic Party chartered council of clubs, Democrats for Israel California is the bridge between the California Democratic Party and the Jewish and pro-Israel communities. We are committed to: advocating to eradicate and prevent antisemitism and all forms of hate through issue advocacy, civic engagement and community alliances; uplifting the values of the Jewish community; working within the Democratic Party and in support of electing officials aligned with our community’s values; and supporting the right of Israel to exist as a peaceful, democratic and pluralistic Jewish state.
DFI-CA also promotes the liberal and progressive Democratic values to our many communities throughout the state through county clubs and at the state party level, supporting candidates for office and California Democratic Central Committee. DFI-CA also works other Jewish community groups to organize the annual Ice Cream social at the State Democratic Convention attended by over 300 delegates.
